Today,
I am going to talk about a movie that impressed me. Directed by Darren
Aronofsky, "Black Swan" came out in 2011 as a dramatic thriller
movie. Mos of you probably are familiar with the movie because of the "I felt it. I was perfect." quote.
Now
about the story: Nina Sayers lives with his overly oppressive, ex- ballerina
mother, Erica. Nina couldn't find herself and was lost on who she was because
of her mother. Her life built on ballet and dancing. Nina always wanted to be
the head dancer in a Swan Lake ballet.
Nina has to represent both the Black Swan and the White Swan
but being a nice and a polite girl. Nina has a hard time while trying to
represent the Black Swan.
However her competitor, Lily, sucsessfully represents the Black
Swan. But that isn't the only problem Nina has to go through. The movie follows
this plot.
The movie seems better when you learn that Natalie Portman
actually took ballet lessons for this role. We also can not forget that because
of her performance in the movie, she got the best drama actress of the year
oscar award.. Even tho it doesn't fall into the psychological movie category, I
felt like had good psychological aspects. It's appearent that a lot of work
went into this movie. I'd suggest this movie to people that have a hard time
finding themselves.
That was all for now, hope you like it.
